The Burmese cat is playful and rambunctious as a kitten and typically grows into a friendly, adaptable adult.  They are very intelligent and have been known to fetch.  They thrive on human companionship and are often described as lap-cats or ‘velcro’ kitties.  They are not well-suited to an outdoor lifestyle.  They are good with children and make a great family pet.
